Belamour Care is seeking a qualified individual with experience in meal planning, preparation and cooking. A background in restaurant or catering services AND knowledge of proper food safety procedures is essential.
In this role, you'll get the chance to prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals using new and old recipes—all while bringing your own touch to make each dish special. Keeping the kitchen clean and safe is a top priority, so you'll be helping us follow all safety and sanitation and safety standards.
There are opportunities to get creative—such as planning menus, managing orders, and assembling and delivering the meals. Our work takes place in an adult family home setting, serving our homes in the Vancouver/Battle Ground area. While we currently use Grove Menus, we're always open to suggestions for customizing menus or making adjustments to suit various dietary needs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A friendly and accommodating attitude, with a strong commitment to excellent customer service
- A thorough understanding of menu planning
- The ability to follow detailed recipes accurately
- The creativity to develop new menu items
- A solid understanding of sanitation protocols
- A valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Compensation ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, depending on experience.
